The personal data we collect:
When you place an on
line order we collect your name, postal address, phone number and email
address. Without this information your order cannot be processed. We need your
address for delivery and your contact details (email address and telephone
number) in case we need to contact you regarding your order.
If you create an
account on our web site (without making an order) we collect the personal data
you provide as part of this. This is your name, postal address, phone number
and email address.
If you sign up to an
email newsletter we collect your email address. You can add more contact information
later on if you want to, but this is not a stipulation.
If you enter into
correspondence with us, such as an email conversation in regards to an order or
pattern query for example we will have access to your email address.
You can at any time request that we
give you details of or amend/remove the information we hold in regards to your personal

If you have created
an account on our web site and have placed and paid for an order then your
information will be shared accordingly to those who require it. In the case of
an on line postal order this would be with the delivery provider (Royal Mail or
Parcel Force) and the payment processor (Barclay Card or PayPal) as well as the IT software providers that host our website
and our email service provider. Your details will also be seen by the member(s) of our
staff who pick and package your order.
If you have signed up
for an email newsletter then your information will be shared with Mailchimp.
In order to comply
with the law we have an obligation to HM Revenue and Customs and other
authorities such as the police, regulatory bodies, legal advisors or similar
third parties to disclose or share personal data if required.
We do not sell personal
data to any third parties and will not do so in the future.
Security
If you have created a password that enables you to access
certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping it confidential. We are
unable to see your password, so cannot provide you with it if your forget it!

secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your

Newsletters and marketing:
We send emails to
members of our mailing list via Mailchimp. Your details will not be added to
our mailing list unless you give us permission and you can opt out of receiving
them by clicking on the unsubscribe option which you will find at the bottom of
every email.
We do not send direct
postal marketing, but at times we do add leaflets and postcards (mostly in
relation to our products or third party yarn shows and events) to your orders.

browser has an option to enable the declining of cookies. If you do decline
cookie downloads you may find that you will be limited to certain areas of our
site.

personally. It is strictly aggregate statistical data about our visitors and
how they used our resources on the site. No identifying personal information
